Zora M. Carver

Zora M. Carver, age 89, passed away June 26, 2024. Zora was born February 08, 1935, to Mary and William Lawrence McInturff of Chicago, IL. She started her career as a preschool teacher, and later went to work at Christ Hospital as the gift shop manager. Zora is survived by her 6 children, Michael (late Gayle), Dale (Wendy), Cathryn (Bruce) Applegate, Judith (James) Daleen, Cheryl (Dennis) McLeod, Nancy (Tony) Connolly, and her 15 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. Zora was a devoted mother and a devout Christian. She loved and was loved by all who met her. Zora was a member of Ridgeland Church (Oak Lawn Church of the Nazarene) for over 30 years.
Visitation Saturday June 29, 2024, from 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 AM at Ridgeland Church 6343 90th Place, Oak Lawn, IL. Interment to follow at Fairmount Willow Cemetery, Willow Springs, IL. Arrangements entrusted to Vandenberg Funeral Home
