William M. Webb, age 93, late of Oak Forest, died of a broken heart July 15, 2022 exactly two weeks to the day that his beloved wife, Dorothy, passed away. They would have been married 69 years in September. Bill was known as the quiet one while Dorothy was gregarious. He is survived by their only child, Debbie (David) Evans, two brothers, Don (Margie & Pat) and Bob (Dee) and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Cecelia Webb. Bill loved to travel with his wife, daughter and son-in-law on yearly vacations in the U.S. The four of them also renewed their wedding vows together on a Princess cruise. Bill and Debbie would plan their vacations and buy the guidebooks which they would bring along with enormous amounts of posted notes stuck on the pages. Their last two vacations were to Ireland and years later to Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Bill loved to take pictures and would corral Debbie to sit with him at CVS and edit every one of those pictures before printing. This would take hours. Then he would spend weeks compiling those pictures in beautiful albums that he became known for. He will be missed by all. Per the request of the family, there will be no service or visitation. Burial will be Private. Memorials may be directed to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle Joliet, IL 60431. For more information 708-479-1210 or
