William A. Erdakos

William A. Erdakos, age 83, late of Tinley Park, IL, passed away October 6, 2024. U.S Navy Veteran. William enjoyed golfing, fishing, coin collecting, playing poker, and birdwatching. Avid fan of all the Chicago Sports teams; Blackhawks, Cubs, White Sox’s, Bears, and Bulls. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of Connie J. Erdakos (nee Martinez) for 55 years. Loving father of David Marr, Elana (Hadar) Erdakos-Roizman, Caroline (Keith) Adams, Jason Erdakos, and Erika Erdakos. Cherished grandfather of Nick, Katie, Sophia, Max, Jordan, Christian, and Elsie. Caring brother of late Carolyn Erdakos, late Toni (Vince) Mandel, Pat Kujawa, Joanne (Jim) Guetschow, and Judy (Paul) Galassi. Dear son of the late Angelo Erdakos and the late Rita O’Rouke. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Gathering, Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Interment will be Private.
