Wayne A. Underwood, age 69, late of Mokena, IL passed away March 7th, 2024. Beloved spouse of Pauline Kontalonis. Loving father of Michelle Underwood (Tim O'Hagan) and Samantha (Zac) Putnam. Proud grandpa of Callahan, Cormac, and Declan. Dear brother of Ray, Donna, and Gregg Underwood. Caring uncle of Ray, Michael, Mark, and Crystal.

Wayne had a big heart and loved his family fiercely. With a great sense of humor, he brought so much joy and laughter to everyone around him. In his free time, he was an avid golfer and sports fan who loved spending time with friends and family. His love and playful spirit will be dearly remembered always.

Funeral Service Monday, March 11, 2024, 10:00 AM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. 60477. Interment in Bethania Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024, 2:00-7:00 PM.
