Valerie Kay Mac Connell

Valerie Kay Mac Connell, age 63, of New Lenox, Illinois unexpectedly passed away February 6th, 2024.
Beloved mother of Samantha, Janelle, and Taylor Bartman; loving sister of Vicki Mac Connell, Pamela (Deniz) Sidkey, and the late Patricia Mac Connell; and cherished aunt of Erica Swansey and Deniz Sidkey.
Val was an avid reader and a competitive thrill seeker, whether it was a sporting event or a family holiday session of board games/cards. She enjoyed attending an array of musical and theatrical shows such as Broadway, ballet, and opera. A common stress reliever for her was tending to her garden which included perennials, vegetables, and herbs. But above all, Val fiercely loved her 3 girls.

Visitation Tuesday February 13th, 2024, from 2 PM until time of Funeral Service 7 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 Wolf Rd, Mokena, IL 60448.
