Theresa J. Mackowiak

Theresa J. Mackowiak, passed away on Wednesday after a brief illness. She was born in Chicago in 1930 and married a Combat Veteran of WWII for 64 years, John. They delivered to America four adult children, Mariellen, Kathy, Bruce and John; there are also six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mom and Dad's life was another example of the "Greatest Generation." All the challenges of survival in war and peace were met and a good life lived. They provided well for us all and did so without complaint about their lot in life (mostly). They carved peace and prosperity from the scruffy environment of South Chicago. We are grateful for what she gave and the memories she left us.

Visitation Tuesday, December 27, 2022, 9:30 AM until time of Mass 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church - Mokena.
