Proud grandfather of Stephen J., Kristin (Fiance Luke Buffo), Richie, Mike, Melissa, Staci, Ryan, Eileen, Kari, and great grandfather of Lexi and Shaun. Dear brother of Harriet (Bob) Leenerts, Philip, the late Jim, Diane, and Sherrie. Caring uncle of many nieces and nephews. Steve was a Local 150 operator for 40 years, and Caretaker of Zion Lutheran Church and Cemetery for 30 years. Lying in State Monday August 17, 2015, 10:00 AM until time of service 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church 17100 69th Avenue Tinley Park, IL. Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
