Shirley Mae Delladio

Shirley M. Delladio nee Teske, age 77, of Mokena, IL passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 28th. Beloved Wife of 52 years to John Delladio. Survived by her sister Carol (Kenneth) Jacobs, sister-in-law Sandie Teske, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Verna Teske, sister Violet (John) Funk, brothers Wilbur and Robert (Lynn) Teske.

Shirley was born and raised in Mokena, IL. She was a graduate of Lincoln-Way High School & a lifetime active member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. Shirley worked in the family business (Wilbur’s Groceries) until 1977. She was a mail carrier & later retired from JCPenney. She loved cooking & baking for her family, pizza & card nights, and was always available when anyone needed help. Shirley was a second mother to many. She enjoyed arts & crafts, especially cake decorating, and loved animals.
