Shirley M. Brace

Shirley M. Brace nee Plotke, of Mokena, IL passed to heaven on Tuesday, August 25th. She leaves behind her loving son, Ken (Lisa) Brace, and her treasured granddaughters, Harley and Quinn Brace.

Shirley was retired from Teamsters Local 710 after 29 years of service. After retiring, she worked at FNBC Bank of Mokena, then spent her final years caring for her beloved granddaughters, who she never neglected to brag about at any opportunity.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Joanne Botwinski, Margaret Hanik, the Palm Family, and the Garcia Family for their support during Shirley’s final weeks.

Visitation, Friday, August 28, 2020, 3:00 PM until time of Funeral Service 7:30 PM, at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. 60477. Cremation Rites will be accorded.

*Due to the global health pandemic (COVID-19) and in accordance with public health mandates; Face coverings are mandatory for entry into the Funeral Home. Gathering size will be limited to less than fifty (50) attendees in the funeral facilities at any given time.
