Ruth Eunice Hopson

Ruth E. Hopson (nee Wesney), age 99, of Mokena, was the beloved wife of the late Merrell; dear mother of the late Bonnie, Phyllis (David) Stanton, Russell (Amanda) and Joyce (Thomas) Egan; devoted grandmother of Paige (John) Usher, Thomas (Jessika) Egan and Russell Egan; treasured great-grandmother of Veda Usher; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was born on October 2, 1925 and at peace, surrounded by her family, on December 6, 2024. Her family was her joy and her life. Ruth was known for planning and having many wonderful family parties. She will be deeply, deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation, Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 S. Wolf Rd. Mokena, IL 60448.
