Roswitha E. Wood

Roswitha E. Wood (nee Bauer) of Mokena, IL passed away January 8, 2016. Rose was born in Germany and made the United States her home in 1964. She was president of Rose-Wood Group LLC and Vice President of Operations at Republic Packaging Corporation. She was preceded in death by her mother Elma Bauer, her father Heinz Bauer and brother Rainer Bauer. Rose is survived by her loving and devoted husband Charles R. Wood, stepson Charles R. Wood Jr. and stepdaughter Diane (Marty) Goss. She was the proud grandmother of C.J. Tawater, Annie Goss, Ben Goss and Aurel Kuehn, fond aunt of Angela Koch, Astrid Koch, Daniela Bauer, Thorsten Bauer and Bjorn Bauer. Rose will be forever missed by many loving and caring friends. A memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 10, at 2:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church 10731 W. LaPorte Road, Mokena, IL 60448. Private Interment at a later date.
