Ronald R. Rhodes

Ronald R. Rhodes, age 77, late of Tinley Park, IL, passed away May 15, 2023. Ronald enjoyed playing golf, going to car shows, telling stories, and going to Hawaii for vacation. He was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, even naming his cat after the mascot “Herky”. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his children. Ronald was head of the Princeton Police Department in Iowa, head of security for JCPenney, a bodyguard, and was a part of Scott County Iowa Sheriff’s Posse.

Beloved husband of the late Marsha Rhodes nee Diimig. Loving father of Trudy (Scott Baske) Rhodes, Robert (Becky), Ronald II (Mandi), and Nicholas (Melissa) Rhodes. Cherished grandfather of Shawna, Brandon, Briana, Nathanial, Shelby, Payton, Lysanne, Piper, Nicholas, Hailey, and Lucas. Kind great-grandfather of Sullivan. Dear son of the late Robert and Gertrude Rhodes. Caring brother of the late DyAnn Jordan. Uncle of Tara (Eric) Clark.

Visitation, Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Interment Private.
