Patricia “Ann” Carroll, age 87, born March 8, 1937, in Oswego, New York, passed away on March 5, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late John Parker and Lillian Brown.
Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her family. She was a strong, fierce woman who had a heart full of love, always putting others before herself.
Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell, and her brother, John. She is survived by her sister, Peggy, and her three children, Mark (Renee Burke), Kurt (Kim), and Meg (Andy) Browning. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren—Allison, Caitlin, Parker, Hollis, Devin, Kelsey, and Brennan—and a cherished great-grandmother to Emmy, Elena, Otis, Eden, and Dorothy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Ann’s legacy of love, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to family will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Visitation, Monday, March 10, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Prayers at the Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. to St. Damian Catholic Church for 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment will be Private.
