Michele Cialdella
October 4, 1934 – February 13, 2025
With a heart as warm as the sun that nourished his beloved garden, Michele Cialdella lived a life filled with love, kindness, and an unwavering devotion to his family.

Born in Ripacandida, Italy, to Donato & Lucia Cialdella, Michele’s journey took him across continents. At just 15 years old, he bravely left his homeland for Argentina, where he embraced new opportunities while staying true to his Italian roots. In his early 30s, he embarked on yet another chapter, settling in the United States, where he found the greatest gift of all—his forever love, Lucia. They married in 1971, building a beautiful life together and welcoming their two cherished children, Lucia and Donato.

Michele was truly the kindest man one could ever meet. He had an incredible gift for conversation, always taking the time to connect with people, listen to their stories, and brighten their day with his warm presence. He valued life’s simple pleasures, tending to his vegetable garden with care and making wine from scratch, just as his ancestors had done before him. His deep appreciation for his Italian heritage was woven into every aspect of his life, from the food he prepared to the traditions he carried on.

Above all else, Michele’s greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren, who lovingly called him Nonno. They were the light of his life, and he beamed with pride at every milestone, every laugh, and every moment spent together.

He enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right, never missing an opportunity to solve a puzzle or guess the price of a showcase. These small traditions, along with his kind-hearted nature, will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

On February 13, 2025, Michele reunited with his beloved Lucia, just in time to spend Valentine’s Day by her side once again.

Michele is survived by his children and grandchildren Lucia (Joseph) Podbielski and their daughters Linda and Lisa; and Dan (Alexandria) Cialdella and their children Michael, Sofia, and Katie; many other family members and friends. He is welcomed into heaven by his wife Lucia and his parents.
