Michael W. Kot, age 93, US Army Korean War Veteran, proud resident of Tinley Park, IL. Beloved husband of the late Ann M. Kot nee Schneider. Loving father of Michael J. (Lynette), Larry (Diane), Cheryl (Boyd) Giesey, Mary Beth (late Dan) Bullard. Proud grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 11. Dear brother of 9 and caring uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mike was a lifelong member of the Tinley Park VFW post 2791, retired bricklayer Local 21, and parishioner of St. George Catholic Church.
Funeral Thursday, December 30, 2021, 9:30 AM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. 60477 to St. George Church, Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Tinley Park Memorial Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday, 3:00-8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Mike’s name to the Tinley Park VFW Post 2791 or to the Manteno Veteran’s Home.
