Michael J. Gilhooly Jr. age 85, late of Mokena, IL. US Army Veteran.
Beloved husband of Diana Gilhooly née D'Angelo. Loving father of Anna (Mark) Sharkey, Mike, Eddie (Stacy) and Gina Gilhooly. Proud grandpa of Scott and Brett Sharkey and Grady and Maggie Sue Gilhooly. Michael is preceded in death by his father Michael J. Gilhooly, his mother Mary Ann Gilhooly and his dear brother Edward Patrick Gilhooly.
Mike was a proud member of IBEW Local 134 where he worked 40 plus years at Illinois Bell / AT&T as a telephone installer.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023, 3:00-8:00 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 Wolf Road, Mokena, IL. 60448. Funeral Chapel Service Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 10:30 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. Mary Cemetery - Mokena, IL.
