Mary Ann Sinise

Mary Ann Sinise nee Orseno, age 98, late of Mokena, IL, passed away June 23, 2024. She was a parishioner of St. Donatus Church in Blue Island, IL for several years. She was a part of St. Donatus Alter, Rosary Society, St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary, Morgan Park Academy Mother’s Club, Peerless Club (served as President, Vice President, and Secretary), Sons of Italy in Blue Island (served as Secretary, Financial Secretary, and Treasurer), and was a Grand Trustee of the Grand Lodge State of Illinois Order Sons of Italy in America. She worked as Secretary to the Asst. Treasurer of Standard Oil for 14 years and Swift & Co. as Secretary to the Territory Manager. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late David Sinise. Loving mother of Judy (Donnie) Cunningham, Lisa (Jeff) Ford, David (Barb) Sinise. Cherished grandmother of Don (Kara) Cunningham, Jimmy (Jamie) Cummingham, Jessica (Tim) Holbert, Michelle Cunningham, Stephanie Ford-Sunzere, Brittanie (Mark) Hogan, Zackary (Lidia) Ford, Sydney Ford, Cristina (Cole) Bushue, David Jr. (Samantha) Sinise. Cherished great grandmother of 17 and one on the way. Caring sister of Irene Wengel, Lillian Keyes, Constane Orseno, the late Anthony Orseno (passed away in combat during WWII), and the late Michael Orseno. Dear daughter of the late Michael and the late Constance Orseno. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Lying in State, Friday, June 28, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephens Deacon & Martyr Church, 17500 84th Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60487. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lightways Hospice in Joliet, IL.
