Mary E. Eichelkraut

Mary E. Eichelkraut nee Burke, age 94, late of Frankfort, IL, passed away October 7, 2023. Long time parishioner of St. Mary Church in Mokena, IL. She was a devoted Catholic and would pray the rosary every day. Mary was an avid fast-food fan, her favorites being Culvers and McDonalds. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Loving mother of Stephen Eichelkraut, Daniel (Vicki) Eichelkraut, Mary (Thomas) Boles, Gerard (Vivian) Eichelkraut, David (Karen) Eichelkraut, and Jeanne (Eugene) Lizen. Dear daughter of the late Maurice and Marie Burke. Cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 19. Aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 S. Wolf Rd. Mokena, IL 60448. Prayers at the Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. to St. Mary Church for 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Mokena, IL.
