Mary K. “Kathy” Cella, age 83 of Chicago Heights, wife for 47 years to the late Joseph Cella. Mother of Mike (Christine), the late Tom (Teri) Cella and Peggy (Bill) O’Brien. Grandmother of Nicole (Joe) Baber, Tony (Jenna), Stephanie (Bob) Sindelar, Matt (Katelyn), Brandon and Megan O’Brien and Joyce Garside. Great grandmother to Dylan, Braxton, Carson, Mallory, Mia, Anna, Ellie, Natalie, Tommy, Connor. Sister of the late Br. Charles E. Joyce and Fran (Geoff) Garside. Sister-in-law of Georgine (the late Dave) Robertson.

Mary was a dedicated Teacher’s Aide for 22 years at Brookwood District 167, Glenwood, IL. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, sewing and violin and her “caregiving” whenever someone needed her. Mary was also known as a loving pet parent throughout her lifetime – especially to her last dog Missy. You will never be forgotten. Your hard work and dedication made a difference to us all.
