Margaret H. Rafacz

Margaret H. Rafacz nee Threm, age 66, of Mokena, IL and parishioner of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, passed away peacefully, surrounded with love in her home on April 29, 2020. Beloved, devoted, and cherished wife of 45 years to Walter D. Rafacz. Daughter to Hazel nee Bakken Spraggins and the late Frederick R. Threm. Goddaughter to Yolanda Bakken. Sister to the late Dorothy Jean, the late Frederick Threm, Joseph, Rose Marie, and Robert. Beloved and cherished mother to Nicole (Terry) Sanford, Justin (Tina), and Joseph. Loving grandmother to Madeline, Abigail, Mehmdi, Terrence Jake, Mira, and Marcella. Kind aunt to Daniel, Christine, Michael, Cynthia, Heather, Jessica, Robert, and Lexi. She has shared her passions of caregiving, cooking, crocheting, gardening, music, and nature with her loving grandchildren and celebrated their achievements. Margaret was a beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother, a faithful cousin and friend to many, and a strong support to all who knew and loved her.
