Sr. M. Emilia Fanti M.S.M. age 97. Entrance March 3, 1941 Mantellate Sisters Servants of Mary in Pistoia, Italy. Sr. Emilia taught at Mother of Sorrows Boarding School for 40 years. Preceded in death by her parents Quintilia and Pietro, sisters Assunta and Bruna, brother Aladino. Survived by a sister-in-law and niece Iva Fanti, both in Italy, as well as 2 nieces and nephews in Brazil. Lying in State Friday July 28, 2017 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial Friday at St. Benedict Church Blue Island 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Benedict Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4:00-8:00 PM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. 60477.
