Lorraine Mary Peppmuller

Lorraine Peppmuller, age 77, of Mokena, IL, passed on Friday, September 1, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Beloved & faithful wife of 56 years to James Peppmuller, united in marriage on October 8, 1966. Loving mother of James Jr. (Jenny), Cathy Petreikis (Jim), Kristin Desnoyers (Ben), Jason (Jenny) & Eric (Tabitha). Proud & loving grandmother to Brittany, Grant, Tyler, Charlie, Aiden, Owen, Kate, Quinn & Franklin & the proudest great grandmother to Brady, born in August 2021. Devoted daughter of the late Frank and late Mary Rydel, dearest sister to Alice Rydel & cherished sister-in-law & aunt to many nieces & nephews. Best friend to her beloved "Cherokees" & friend to many.

Lorraine was an endodontic assistant for many years for Dr. James McCormick in Palos Heights, IL.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Mom fought her end of life with grace, faith, love & strength & our hearts will forever be broken.

Visitation will commence Friday, September 8, 2023, 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Mokena. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vandenberg Funeral Home.
