Lavone E. Mirin

Lavone E. Mirin (nee Fink), age 94, late of Tinley Park, IL, passed away March 24, 2024, at Prairie Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Normal, IL on August 10, 1929. Lavone enjoyed going on vacation and traveling to new places. Her last family trip was to Nashville, TN. She traveled out west with her brother, sister, and sister-in-law and often enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Florida, and Arizona. Avid fan of playing bingo. Lavone loved making patchwork, quilts, and kitchen towels for her family and friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Beloved wife of the late Felix Mirin. Lavone and Felix got married on May 22, 1948, at Immaculate Conception Church and spent 49 years together. Loving mother of Dale Sodaro, Phyllis (Redge) Meierhenry, Nancy, Susan, and Steve Mirin. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Denise, and Josh. Cherished great grandmother of Kennedy. Caring sister of the late Albert, late Alice, late Corena, late Dolan, late Edna, late Elosie, late Gladys, late Jessie, late Lucille, late Robert, late Richard, late Randell, late Viola, and late William. Dear daughter of the late John and the late Mable (nee Hardy) Fink. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.
