Kevin L. Derrow

Kevin L Derrow age 68, late of Lynwood, Calumet City IL. Loving father of Bryan Gima-Derrow (Erin). Preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Annamae and brother Daniel. Caring brother of Donald (Gail), Marc (John), and Martin (Laura) Derrow. Fond uncle to Jennifer (Tom), Alexis, Kaitlyn (Bill), Allyson (Dan), Daniel, and McKenzie. Survived by dear friend and companion Albina (Bina) Lavery and special family friend Robin Oakley. Dear cousin to many. Nephew to Sister Kathleen Quinn PHJC and aunts and uncles that preceded Kevin. Kevin graduated from T.F. North High School (Calumet City IL) in 1968 and later received a Degree in Transportation and Logistics from Purdue Calumet. Kevin was a member of the East Chicago IN Good Fellows Club and The Friendly Sons of Erin. Kevin was an Army Veteran (March 1970 – March 1973) and served in Germany in Communications. In lieu flowers please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association or Alzheimer’s Disease Research. Visitation Sunday, 4:00-8:00 PM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home. Funeral Monday 10:30 AM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home 19604 S. Wolf Road, Mokena, IL. to St. Mary Church, Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
