Kenneth S. Drobick passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 76 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by carrying out the family traditions he treasured most. Beloved husband of the late Barb (Benson) Drobick, devoted son of the late Stanley and Mary (Kracik) Drobick, dear brother of Lawrence Drobick, Mary Ann Drobick, and Judy (Drobick) McMahon, proud uncle of Kimberly (Drobick) Schroeder, Stacy (Drobick) Dahle, Marc McMahon, John McMahon, and Melissa McMahon, and doting great uncle of Kayla Schroeder and the late Faith Schroeder. A former resident of the West Pullman neighborhood, Ken served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and earned a prestigious Purple Heart. He loved cheering on the Chicago Bears and White Sox, detailing and driving his sports cars, and dining out dressed to the nines. His uncanny sense of humor and generosity made him a joy to be around. A burial service will be held on Wednesday, October 20th, at 10:00 a.m., at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W.
