Kathleen M. Burke

Kathleen M. Burke, R.N., nee Ivers age 87, late of Marion Village, Homer Glen, IL. Passed away October 15, 2023. Long time nurse at South Suburban Hospital of Hazel Crest, IL., and a Hospice volunteer with Palos Community Hospital. Kathleen was a graduate of Visitation Grade School and High School in Chicago, IL. Kay attended St. Francis School of Nursing in Evanston, IL, graduated in 1957. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at St. Xavier University in Chicago, IL, graduated in 1985.

Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Burke. Loving mother of Mary (Gerald) Lindemann and Catherine (Richard) Wilson. Cherished grandmother of the late Megan, Colleen (Aaron) Cote, Katlyn (Dustin) Summers, and Elizabeth (James) Sroka. Cherished great-grandmother of Layla, Madaline, Liam, Callum, Andrew and Harrison. Dear daughter of the late James and Katherine Ivers. Caring sister of the late Thomas (Sharon) Ivers. Aunt of multiple nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 9:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. George Catholic Church, 6707 175th St. Tinley Park, IL 60477.
