Kathie L. Ryba

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Kathie Lynn Ryba, wonderful wife and devoted mother of two, on April 28th, 2021.
Kathie was brought into this world on August 31st, 1962, to Dorothy and Ken Schiemann.
In 1990, she met Jerry Ryba, and they wed in 1992, going on to have two children, Gregory, and Valerie Ryba.
She worked as an Executive Assistant at Prosperio Group and Carroll’s Martial Arts for 13 years and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, School Mom, Community Organizer, and Scout Leader for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
Anyone who knew Kathie, knew that she was kind, loyal, loving, caring, and brilliant. She was always a source of positivity and love. Kathie’s family and friends will miss her deeply.
Kathie joins her first child, April Victoria Ryba and grandmother, Frieda Schiemann in Heaven. She is survived by Jerry, Gregory, and Valerie Ryba, as well as her parents, and many extended family members.
There will be a visitation on Thursday May 6th 3p-8p at Vandenberg Funeral Home and the funeral service will also be held at the same location at 10a, on Friday May 7th.
