Julie Ann Fencl

Julie Ann Fencl nee Plowman, age 66, late of Alsip, IL, passed away September 13, 2024. Julie enjoyed riding motorcycles and going to the beach. She was an avid fan of traveling; her most memorable trip staying in cabins during the summertime in Canada and exploring the islands of Hawaii. She doted over her dog Tucker who was always a loyal companion to her. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Long time partner of Jim Hastings. Loving mother of Jacob (Brittany) Fencl and Sarah (Ryan) Pitcher. Cherished grandmother “Nunu” of Maverick, Declan, Teagan, and Taylor. Caring sister of Delma Rutherford, Jerry (Colleen) Plowman, Dan (Krissy) Plowman, Tim Plowman, and Alan (Pam) Plowman. Dear daughter of Verna and the late Albert Plowman. Kind aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until time of Chapel Service at 7:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Interment will be Private.
