Joyce M. Matyszka

Joyce M. Matyszka nee Lobbia, age 82, late of Orland Park, IL, passed away July 12, 2023. Joyce taught at St. Camillus Church for several years. She was an avid painter and animal lover. Most of all she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Edward Matyszka for 48 years. Loving mother of Beverly (Kevin) Guest, David, Jeffery (Sherie Cummings), and Steven Matyszka. Cherished grandmother of Victoria (James) Davis, Olivia Guest, Elizabeth (Cody) Swanigan, Luke, Faith, Amelia, and Valencia Matyszka, and Malichi and Colt Cummings. Great-grandmother of Nora and Jude. Dear daughter of the late John and late Margaret Lobbia. Sister of Bob (Diane) Lobbia, Emily (John) Thomas. Aunt of several and nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Tuesday, July 18, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Prayers at the Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 9:15 a.m. to St. Damian Church in Oak Forest, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL.
