John J. "Pete Kelly" Aitchison Sr., age 96, late of Tinley Park, IL, passed away February 6, 2023. U.S Navy Veteran. Life member of VFW Post 2791. John worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad for 42 years and the Fire Department for 25 years. Loving father of Cheryl (Allen) Godfrey, John (Antoinette) Aitchison Jr., Lorin Valk, and the late Debra Buttermore. Beloved husband of the late Maryanne Aitchison nee Hostrup. Caring grandfather to four grandchildren. Caring great-grandfather to one. Dear son of the late George and Margaret Aitchison.
