Joan R. Montoya nee Kendall, age 83, late of Frankfort, IL (raised in Midlothian). Beloved mother of Susan Montoya and Jacquelyn (Ross) Norstrom. Loving grandmother of Zoe, Hazel and Kyle. Dear sister of Kate Bilotti and Larry (Shirley) Kendall. Survived by loving nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial gathering Friday June 29, 2018, 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church Mokena. Inurnment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery Mokena. Joan had a life well-lived: she loved traveling, working, cooking, going to parties and most of all, spending time with her family.
