Joan Loeber

Unfortunately some amazing stories have to come to an abrupt end.
After a 2 year battle of Leukemia, Joan Loeber passed away Sunday March 14, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was 70 years young.
Our mother was given a life sentence of only 32 weeks back in July, 2019. She was a fighter and never gave up until nearly 2 years later when her body did.
Her hobbies were going to the casino, watching Netflix, and spending time with her loved ones. Her proudest moment was when she was able to call herself Grandma. She enjoyed every moment - and we were so lucky for you being in her life.
Joan is survived by her daughters Christine , Katherine, Patricia Loeber and grand daughters Ariella, Adalyn Krueger and Son-in-law Thomas Krueger and we can’t forget her fur babies Daisy and Hemi Loeber. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday March 21, 2021 at Vandenberg Funeral Home on 17248 S Harlem Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477 from 12:00 - 4:00 PM.
