Jeffery M. Smith

Jeffery M. Smith, age 69, late of Crete, IL, passed away December 12, 2024, at his home due to complications with Leukemia. He worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation as a highway maintenance worker. Jeffery enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of Tanya Smith nee Huston. Loving father of Amy (Dark Mark) Nusko, Carey (Spark Mark) Dunmore, Justin (Katie) Smith, Caitlin (Matthew) Secrest, and Sarah (Jason) Naese. Cherished Logan, Nickolas, Gavin, Jack, Wesley, Dean, Khalessi, Wyatt, Reid, Tessa, Austin, and Kaia. Caring brother of Karen (Jim) Roberts and the late Larry Smith. Dear son of the late Lee and Jean Smith. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation, Monday, December 16, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Interment will be Private.
