Mrs. Janet M. Wroblewski 86, of Orland Park, Illinois (formerly Sarasota, FL) passed away January 25, 2017 in Orland Park, Illinois. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Anamosa, Iowa. Janet was born June 19, 1930 in Spencer Iowa to the late George T. and Elsie Krause.
Janet was a graduate of Spencer High School. She attended Cottey College and later the University of Iowa where she received a degree in Education. Janet began her teaching career as a teacher for the visually impaired at Vinton School for the Blind (Vinton, Iowa) and finished her teaching career in Sarasota, Florida at Phillippi Shores Elementary as a special needs teacher. Janet had a love for marine life and was a volunteer for Mote Aquarium. Janet loved spending her free time with her grandchildren as well as taking long walks on the beautiful white beaches on Siesta Beach.
Janet was married to John Wroblewski, December 25, 1955 they were married for 57 years.
Janet is survived by brother Gene Krause of Sarasota FL, daughter Susan Rott (Mike) of Orland Park, Illinois, Cynthia Kaul (Sumeet) Tampa, Florida, Steven Wroblewski (Amy) of Warner Robins, Georgia, grandchildren, Payton, Taylor, Jake, Nicholas, Camden, Sophia and Emily as well as several nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband John Wroblewski, brother George and sister Kathryn.
