James M. Mccombs

James M. McCombs, age 89, late of Palos Heights, IL. United States Army Reserve. Beloved husband of Yolanda McCombs nee Spinazzola. Loving father of Sharon and Mark McCombs. Cherished grandfather of Rachel, Cassie, Madison Greenhill, Jimmy, Thomas, Daniel, Mary Kate McCombs. Caring brother of the late William (the late Betty) McCombs. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents George and Ruth McCombs. James was a 40-year employee of Jewel-Osco, and ran his own tax service, where he was known as the "Tax Man". James was a devoted country music fan, Chicago Cubs fan, and loved his endless visits to the Happiest Place on Earth, Disney World. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation, St. Jude Hospital, or Plant a Tree Foundation.
