James E. Hackiewicz

James E. Hackiewicz, late of Mokena, IL. Husband of Berenice M. Caden "nee Hackiewicz. Passed away Friday July 15, 2022, Jim passed away in his home surrounded by family after a long battle with Parkinson’s. Born July 19, 1937, in Chicago. Son of Edward and Bernice Hackiewicz. Brother to Joan Edwards and Joyce James. He is survived by his wife of 64 years. Berenice Caden Hackiewicz. Children James (Callie) Hackiewicz, Robert (Debra) Hackiewicz, Thomas Hackiewicz and William (Margaret) Hackiewicz. Grandfather to Jamie Hackiewicz Cobb, Jesse Hackiewicz, Andrew Hackiewicz Destanie Hackiewicz Mazurek. Karlee and Kevin McMaster and US Army Staff Sargeant Eric Boulanger Jim was a loving husband and father as well as an active fisherman. Jim took great pride in teaching all his children and grandchildren how to fish and to respect the outdoors. There will be a private family service only.
