Howard R. Hayes

Howard R. Hayes, age 83, of Tinley Park, IL, passed away August 22, 2024. U.S. Army Veteran. Howard was a parishioner of St. Julie Billiart Roman Catholic Church in Tinley Park, IL. He retired from Hayes distributing, where he worked for over 30 years. Avid fisherman. Howard loved traveling out West. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchild Miles.

Beloved husband of the late Anita Hayes (nee Rokosh). Loving father of Matthew (Melissa) Hayes. Cherished grandfather of Miles. Caring brother of Diane Hayes and the late Grace (late Jack) Pellack. Kind uncle of several nephews and niece.

Visitation, Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Military honors will be rendered before the Funeral Service. Interment will be Private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Big Shoulders Fund.
