George “Bill” Hanson Jr., age 60, suddenly was called home to his maker, late of Oak Forest, IL. Beloved husband of Karin Hanson nee Laba. Loving father of Ashlee (Jon) Jelley and Jeni (Matt) Hanson-Sedory. Proud grandpa of Keegan, Lynnea, Payton, Brycen, Hudson, Mason, Bennett. Caring brother Joyce (late Fred) Haber, Debbie (Glenn) Laudermith, MeriLynn (David) Bollinger, Thomas (Mary) Piette, Kimberly Hanson-Brzezinski. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, Godfather, and friend to many. Bill retired from Panduit Corp after 35 years of dedicated employment, he was the proud owner of Subway of Oak Forest. Bill was an avid electronic collector always was able to fix anything. He was a lifetime NRA member and an extremely proud American Patriot.
Funeral Chapel Service will be held Friday, September 13, 2019, 10:00 AM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. 60477. Interment to follow in Bethania Cemetery.
