George E. Dempsey Jr.

George Dempsey was born October 28,1942 and passed away on July 7, 2020 at the age of 77. He grew up in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago, quitting school at an early age to help his family out. George was a truck driver for Willet Trucking and Union Pacific. He was a loyal member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. George loved taking family vacations to Wisconsin and Minnesota where he loved boating and fishing. George is preceded in death by his parents, George and Marie Dempsey, his sisters Caroline and Cecilia, his wife of 50 years Virginia and his youngest Daughter Valarie. George leaves behind his son Anthony Dempsey, his daughter Debra Ferguson, three granddaughters Andrea, Allyssa, And Hayley. One grandson Jason. His four great-grandchildren Ashlyn, Elliot, Abigail and Xander. His presence will be greatly missed.
