Gary D. Morin, age 77, of Oak Forest, IL passed away on August 5, 2022, US Army Veteran - 101st Airborne 1st Battalion 21st Artillery 1st Cavalry Division Korea 1962-1965.
Beloved Husband of the late Celiann Morin. Loving father of Donna, Don, Gina, and Greg Morin. Dear brother of Ron (Debbie) Morin, Rick (Marsha) Morin, and Judy (Tony) Kozik. Cherished grandfather of Jamie, Greg Jr., Kyle, Briana, and Madison. Caring great-grandfather of Riley, Josiah, Isaiah, and soon to be expecting one more.
Gary spent most of his career as a ready-mix driver for Prairie Material (43 years). He was a volunteer firefighter for 20 years for the Posen Fire Department where he retired as assistant chief in 1987.
He was a loyal husband and dedicated family man. He enjoyed taking care of the neighbors on the block and doing scratch off bingo tickets.
Visitation Saturday August 13, 2022, 3:00-8:00 PM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue, Tinley Park, IL. 60477. Inurnment with Full Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
