On April 6, 2019, Frank Dorcak, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 70.
Frank was born on February 13, 1949, in Chicago, IL to Frank and Sophia (Gross) Dorcak. He received a mechanical engineering degree from Marquette University in 1972 and an MBA from Loyola University in 1975.
On September 1, 1973, in Norwood Park, IL, he married Gina Anaclerio. Together they raised three daughters, Laura, Katie and Maggie, and dog Annie.
Frank will best be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor, a larger than life personality, and a genuine care for his friends, family and clients. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed restoring his ‘69 Camero. He also enjoyed Harley motorcycles and spent time with Gina & the girls on road trips across the country. He loved music and took piano and guitar lessons. He had a special love for dogs, especially all those in his life – the beloved Annie, Jordan, Payton, Bear & Charlie. His faith gave him strength, which was evident by his strong relationship with Jesus and Grace Fellowship Church.
He is survived by his wife (Gina), daughters (Laura, Katie, Maggie), sister Pat, aunt Rose, sons-in-law (Ryan, Chris, Chris) and several cousins and grandchildren.
A church service in Frank’s honor will be held at Grace Fellowship Church 11049 LaPorte Rd. Mokena, IL on Sunday, April 14, at 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will then be held at CD&Me 23320 S. LaGrange Rd Frankfort, IL at 4:00.
