Frank J. Derucki Jr.

Frank J. Derucki, Jr., age 60, late of Tinley Park, IL passed away on January 16, 2025 after a 30+ year battle with MS and a short hard battle with brain cancer. Beloved brother of Julie Ann (David) Kotowski, Michael Derucki, and John Derucki (Samantha Hudgens–fiancée), dear friend Karyn Staresinich, sisters-in-law Gail (John) Chengary and Susan (Darin) Angus. Cherished uncle to Katie Kotowski, Dylan Derucki, Katie (Chengary) Peel, Johnny Chengary, Maggie (Chengary) Morse, Billy Chengary, and Nick, Jack and Annie Angus. Great uncle to Frankie and Payton Derucki, Dawson Morse, Annabelle and Rebekah Chengary.

Preceded in death by his parents Frank Sr. and Mariann.

Frank graduated from George Washington High School (class of ’82) and went on to study to be an auto mechanic where he worked for Lincoln Mercury in Calumet City, IL for over 25 years. He loved to work on cars and was often sought after for his aptitude in figuring out what made cars tick and how to fix them! He was the biggest Bears and Cubs fan. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

His service and interment will be private. Cremation rites have been accorded.
