Evanis L. Dina

Evans Lily Dina, 98 years old, wife of the late Anthony A. Dina Sr. (1988). Matriarch of Dina’s Barbershop Front Street, Mokena since 1947, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ at 12:45 AM on September 11, 2016. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn (Val) Grabin of Joliet, IL. sons Anthony A. Jr, Mokena, IL. Michael, Peoria, IL. and Dominick “Danny” (Hyong Ju) of San Antonio, TX. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with nieces and nephews all across the country. One of eleven children born to the late George D. and Sarah Anne Gibson of Chicago. She was and extremely compassionate and caring woman whose strong sense of family included ministering to the needs of several family members on their final journeys. She leaves behind a younger sister Claire Schumann, 94 years old, of Elmhurst, IL. Per her request, cremation will be accorded with no visitation and a private burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, she requested all to donate to their favorite charity.
