Ennis V. Heathcock, age 89, late of Mokena, IL, passed away February 1, 2023. U.S Army Veteran. Ennis graduated from University of Evansville with a degree in business. He was a founding member of The Sigma Alpha Epsilon chapter at University of Evansville. Ennis played baseball professionally for the St. Louis Browns, which later became the Baltimore Orioles. Beloved husband of 55 years to Sandra B. Heathcock nee Barker. Loving father of Douglas Ennis (Anne) Heathcock, Kathleen (Rick) Walker, and Alan Heathcock. Caring grandfather of Emily, Drew, Amanda, Aaron, Evan Ennis, Caroline, and Harper. Kind brother of Gene Heathcock, Carmen Bruce, and the late Robert Heathcock.
