Emma Louise Chase

Emma Louise Chase age 82 late of Mokena, IL passed away August 16, 2017. Born May 2, 1935 in Spring Valley, IL to the late Ivan and Mae Belle Stowe. Survived by her loving daughters Tracy (George) Busch and Melinda (Sean) Rolando; cherished grandchildren, Schyler (Mike) Strowmatt, Shaylee Busch, Shianne Busch, Parker Busch, Spencer Busch and great grandchildren Dalton and Shane Strowmatt. Proceeded in death by her loving husband of 55 years Gary L. Chase. Louise as she was fondly known made Mokena her home with her husband Gary and lived there for almost 60 years. She graduated from Methodist Hospital Nursing School in Peoria in 1956. She retired from Silver Cross Hospital in 1995 after dedicating 32 years to caring for others as a registered nurse. After retirement she spent many years giving back to the community volunteering her time to the FISH Resale Store in Mokena. Our sincere thanks to the nurses at Alden Estates of Shorewood and Joliet Community Hospice for their support, compassion and amazing care given to our mom. Funeral Monday August 21, 2017 lying in state at United Methodist Church of New Lenox 339 New Lenox Rd, New Lenox, IL 60451 from 1:00 PM until time of service 2:00 PM.
