Miller, Eldon W. Age 84, late of Tinley Park, IL, WWII Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Lois A. Miller (nee Grossmann); loving father of Danny Miller, Denise (Charles) Gates, and Dawn (Bill) Gerstenkorn; proud grandfather of Michael Ackerman, Carly Sayler, Allie Gerstenkorn, and great-grandfather of Noah Ackerman, Sydney Cutts, and Adrianna Sayler; dear brother of Leroy, Harry Jr. and the late Donald Miller. Eldon was owner of Premium Services for 30 years, past Tinley Park Trustee, Tinley Park Volunteer Fireman, Commander of the Tinley Park VFW, Past Elected Board Member of the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1955. Eldon received the "Key to the City of Tinley Park". It was said that Eldon "Was actively instrumental in the development of Tinley Park; and that he LOVED Tinley Park." He ran for Tinley Park Mayor against Ed Zabrocki and lost, the two have been friends since, he will be greatly missed. Visitation Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S.
