Edward R. Thorson, 72, late of Mokena, IL, passed peacefully with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Patricia Thorson neè Hopkins. Loving father Scott (Nancy), Teri (John O'Sullivan) Thorson. Proud grandfather of Amberlyn, Alex, Melanie, and great grandfather of Gavin, Grace, and Gabriel. Dear brother of Cherilyn (Gary) Madsen.

Ed was a true Harley Davidson enthusiast, spending many hours on his bike. An avid golfer, he enjoyed the game's challenges. When he wasn't golfing, Ed was an dropping a line and fishing, he was often found casting lines in Kentucky Lake. It was his favorite spot to unwind, spending time with friends and family, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
