Edward F. Mohr age 91, late of Tinley Park,IL. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Mohr nee Vanderwall. Loving father of the late Maryann. Survived by daughters Cathy (Ed) Heneghan, Lori (Bob) Calich and step-father of Jimmy Meinke, and proud grandfather of Eddy, Katy, Michael Heneghan and Matthew and Emily Calich. Dear uncle of Karen Bonezek, Beverly Jeveret, Larry Mohr, and special great uncle, cousin and friend to many. Ed was a lifelong resident of Tinley Park, he was the former owner of Tinley’s first Floral Shop “Mohr’s Floral” on Oak Park Avenue. Ed also was one of the first Mail Carrier’s in Tinley Park and retired after 30 years of service. He also was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church. Lying in State Friday July 21, 2017 10:00 AM until time of Service 11:00 AM, at Zion Lutheran Church, 17100 69th Avenue Tinley Park, IL. Interment to follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation Thursday July 20, 2017, 3:00-9:00 PM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials to Zion Lutheran Church or Park Lawn Residential.
