Edward J. Jaremka

Edward Jaremka, age 96, late of the Manteno Veteran's Home. Ed was born and raised in Chicago Roseland neighborhood later moving to Tinley Park, IL. US Army World War II Veteran.

Beloved husband of Irma Jaremka née Mazzacavallo of 73 years. Loving father of Janice Martinez, Thomas (Nancy), and Richard Jaremka. Caring grandfather of Brian (Jill), Kristen Adams, Alexis (Kevin) Ross, Nicholas (Fianceè Jessica), great grandfather of 4 and step great grandfather of 2. Preceded in death by his parents John and Julia, and brothers and sisters.

Ed is a retired Teamsters Truck Driver Local 705. Ed also was a usher at St. Peter & Paul Church Chicago-West Pullman.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 09, 2024, at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 Harlem Avenue Tinley Park, IL. from 3:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Chapel Service will commence Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Entombment with Military Honors at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery & Mausoleum of the Archangels.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Illinois Manteno Veteran's Home would be appreciated.
