Edward M. Bernas

Edward M. Bernas, age 79, late of Tinley Park, IL, passed away June 29, 2023. Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Current parishioner of St. George Catholic Church in Tinley Park, IL. He worked for Nabisco for 40 years. Edward was an avid golfer and woodworker. He enjoyed traveling and some of his most memorable trips were to Mexico. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Beloved husband of Jeanne L. Bernas nee Zwolinski for 56 years. Loving father of Edward F. (Brenda) Bernas and Susan S. (Patrick) Twist. Cherished grandfather of Kiley and Sam. Dear son of the late Anthony and the late Stella Bernas. Caring brother of Judy (Chuck) McMahon, the late James (Doris), and the late Matthew (late Debbie) Bernas. Uncle of several nieces and nephews.
